Two Brian Hayes second-half goals swung the pendulum in Cork's favour in Pearse Stadium on Saturday (31st January 2026) as the Rebels picked up their second victory in the National Hurling League.

Thomas Monaghan's 10th-minute goal gave Galway the early initiative as they led by one point at the break, and they still finished strongly despite the concession of the brace of green flags.
