Details of Galway's games in the Connacht U20 and U17 Football Championships have been announced.
The Connacht U20 Football Championship will begin for Galway on Wednesday next, the 18th of March, when they take on Roscommon in Tuam Stadium, with the game throwing in at 5.15pm.
The format remains as a round robin for this year, with Galway’s next game away to Leitrim on the 25th, followed by Sligo in Tuam Stadium on April 8th and Mayo away on the 15th.
The top team will go through to the Connacht final, with second and third playing a provincial semi-final on the 22nd. Galway has a new U20 manager this year, with Kevin Johnson of Claregalway appointed last August.
Details of the Connacht U17 football championship have also been revealed, with Galway at home to Leitrim in their opening game on March 20th, followed by Mayo away on the 27th, Sligo at home on April 10th and finally Roscommon away on the 17th.
