There were defeats for both St. Paul's Oughterard and St Joseph’s The Bish in today’s Connacht Schools Senior Development and Junior A Cup Finals at Dexcom Stadium.
A penalty at the death for Carrick Community School saw them beat St Paul's Oughterard 24-22 in the Development Cup final.
St Paul's tries came from Cormac Forde, Simon Dalton and Dara Lowry with one conversion from Adam Colton.
Meanwhile, St Joseph’s The Bish were beaten 25-7 by Sligo Grammar in the Junior A Cup Final. Their try came from Dara Flanagan with Dara McGrath kicking the conversion.
