DLR Waves 0-1 Galway United (Women's Premier Division Reaction with Aoibhinn Costello and Phil Trill)

Galway United began the 2026 SSE Airtricity League Women's Premier Division with a 1-0 victory away to DLR Waves at the UCD Bowl on Saturday (14th March 2026).

Isabella Beletic's strike on 73 minutes finally broke the deadlock and gave the Tribeswomen a seventh successive win over the Dublin outfit.

Afterwards, Galway United defender Aoibhinn Costello chatted to Galway Bay FM's Sean Carley.

Galway United's next game is at home against Sligo Rovers next Saturday (21st).  Kick-off at Eamonn Deacy Park is 5pm.
