Dunmore MacHales have commenced the Bon Secours Senior Football Championship with an impressive 12-point victory over Annaghdown in Tuam Stadium on Friday (1st August 2025).

Three second half goals allowed the victors leave the result beyond doubt against an Annaghdown side missing Damien Comer.

Afterwards, Dunmore MacHales manager Denis Fallon and man of the match Colm Costello spoke to Galway Bay FM's Tommy Devane.

Dunmore MacHales will play the winners of Sunday's game between Tuam Stars and Claregalway in Round 2.  Annaghdown will play the other team.
