Dunmore Town beat a resolute Kilkerrin United to claim the Roscommon and District League's Concannon Cup on Saturday night in Lecarrow.
In a game that was entertaining from the start, with both sides having chances, it finished 0-0 at the end of extra time.
That meant penalties, and after 5 spot kicks each, it was Dunmore who prevailed 2-0 with their penalties scored by Ciara Bowens and Steph O’Neill.
Dunmore goalkeeper Helena Cummins had an outstanding game, making some vital saves and then saving two penalties in the shootout.
After the game, John Mulligan spoke to the Dunmore joint captain Sarah Cosgrove.
