Eddie McCormack and Joe Lyons have taken the top two places in the Bridgestone Senior Men’s Order of Merit following the release of the final placings this afternoon.
It has been an incredible season for the pair with McCormack winning the Irish Senior Men’s Amateur Close Championship last July and European Senior Team success for both players earlier this month when Ireland won the title for the first time since 2017.
Athenry’s David Kitt finished 8th in the Bridgestone Order of Merit in a year that saw his ranking jump 11 places on last season. Stuart Grehan of County Louth was named overall winner in the Men’s, while in the Women’s Tour Standings, Kate Dillon of Oughterard finished 17th for the season behind overall winner Aideen Walsh of Lahinch and in the Senior Women’s, Portumna’s Suzanne Corcoran finished 10th behind Deirdre Smith of County Louth.
