Daragh Morgan and Swim Eire are doing an epic swim around Ireland.
Daragh, who is raising money for the RNLI and The Simon Community, has swum over 1000km and is currently battling harsh conditions, strong winds and tides while also suffering from jellyfish stings, cuts and lesions in his swimming gear.
He needs support from companies if he is going to complete this, so please, if there are any companies out there that want to support this unbelievable challenge, contact Swim Eire.
You can track Daragh's progress on the website www.swimeire.ie.
He is now as far as the coast of Waterford and is 600km from the finish line in Galway.
However, this will be a tough challenge around Cork and Kerry with tides and winds going against him.
On Tuesday night at Blackrock, a night swim will be held to support Daragh and Swim Eire.
Please come along, bring a friend and your sense of adventure.
This will be an assisted swim with Kayak support.
Come along for a dip in the dark and experience what it's like for Daragh when swimming at night.
He loves swimming at night, where we surrender our fear and lets our senses guide us.
The swim meet-up is 7.30 pm. Please donate on https://www.swimeire.ie/ or bring a few quid on the night.
