GAA Stars Team Up With Solgar For Wellfest 2025

Limerick GAA star Tom Morrissey and Galway Camogie player Niamh Mallon are teaming up with Nestlé Health Science’s global-leading brand Solgar and putting their GAA skills and fitness to the test at WellFest, Europe’s largest outdoor health, fitness and wellness festival taking place in IMMA at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, May 10- 11.

Morrissey, a five-time All-Ireland winner with Limerick and Mallon, a multi-talented sportswoman who has represented her native county of Down, and now plies her trade with Galway, will take time out from their hectic playing and training schedules to tog out with Team Solgar as part of the two-day event.

Attendees at this year’s WellFest have a wonderful opportunity to meet and greet both GAA stars; learn about what fuels their training and playing performance and test out some GAA skills. Also joining Tom and Niamh are iconic GAA legends, the Liam MacCarthy and Sam Maguire Cups. Both are making a guest appearance with a specially designed 360-degree Croke Park themed photo booth providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable photo moment.

Completing Team Solgar is performance nutritionist and gymnastics coach Nicole Shaw who will be on-hand throughout the two days providing festival goers with nutritional advice, guidance and top tips on how to get the best out of your day and enjoy life’s golden moments.

Speaking in advance Natalia Lobetska, Solgar

“We are delighted to be appearing at this year’s WellFest, our first time ever and to have the opportunity to be part of such an incredible event. We are really looking forward to welcoming as many visitors as possible to our specially designed Team Solgar zone at which we will share lots of information on not only Solgar but also three other amazing products within the Nestle Health Science portfolio: Nuun Hydration, Minami and Vital Protein. We are also proud to have our wonderful Solgar/GAA/GPA ambassadors Tom and Niamh with us, both truly inspirational sportspeople who will have amazing insights and stories on what helps them perform at their best, while we are thrilled to complete the line-up with our performance nutritionist Nicole Shaw who will be a wealth of advice. Added to all of this will be fun skills challenges, amazing photo opportunities and an overall experience which will help savour life’s golden moments, the Solgar way.”

Solgar, a leading provider of high-quality nutritional supplements, earlier this year, announced an exciting new three-year partnership with the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) and the Gaelic Players Association (GPA), the representative body for inter-county Gaelic Games players becoming the official vitamin partner of the GAA/GPA and working with brand ambassadors Tom Morrissey (Limerick) Paul Conroy (Galway), Niamh Mallon (Galway) and Katie Quirke (Cork). In addition, it also became one of the title sponsors of the GAA Museum, home to the rich sporting, social and cultural history of Gaelic Games.

Limerick GAA hurler Tom Morrissey and Galway Camogie star Niamh Mallon will be in attendance on Sunday May 11th from 11:00am to 4:00pm with Nicole Shaw, nutritionist appearing Saturday, May 10th and May 11th.
