Galway are off to a winning start in the Connacht minor football championship following a double-score victory over Leitrim in Tuam Stadium on Friday (20th March 2026).

First-half goals from Aaron Hanrahan and Mikey Mitchell gave the Tribesmen a 10-point interval cushion that was never under threat.
