The Amgen Irish Open at The K Club is set for its biggest day yet with Super Saturday on September 6th - a day of champions, entertainment, and community spirit.
In the afternoon in the Championship Village, fans will enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime celebration as broadcaster Shane O’Donoghue hosts live Q&As with this year’s All-Ireland winners, giving supporters the chance to see their heroes up close. On stage will be:
- Kerry football captain Gavin White
- Tipperary hurler Rhys Shelly
- Dublin football stars Carla Rowe (Captain), Niamh Donlon and Leah Caffrey (Vice Captains)
- Members of the Galway All-Ireland winning camogie team
Rugby greats and Lions teammates Tadhg Beirne and Dan Sheehan will further elevate the champions’ line-up, bringing their stories to the big stage.
Wear Green - Support Make-A-Wish Ireland
In the spirit of celebration, fans are encouraged to wear green on Saturday. For every person dressed in green, Amgen will make a donation to Make-A-Wish Ireland - turning a sea of green into a wave of support for children and families who need it most.
Beat the Pro
At the heart of Saturday’s action at the Arena on the 12th hole, the thrilling Beat the Pro activation will take place, where amateur golfers take on the Par 3. Pre-registration is required to participate, where you have a unique opportunity to test skills against some of the world’s best golfers.
Festival Atmosphere & Music From The Stunning
Beyond the fairways, Super Saturday promises world-class entertainment with legendary Irish band The Stunning performing live on the main stage in the Championship Village. Visitors can explore a wide selection of food vendors serving everything from gourmet street food and burgers to coffees, sweet treats, and more. Pop-up bars, craft drinks, and casual seating areas will ensure that the Championship Village is a popular stop.
One of the standout destinations is The Summer House at The K Club champagne bar, set on the Kildare Lawn beside the 16th hole. This elegantly designed space invites fans to relax and savour artisan food platters, fine wines, and champagne - all just a short shot from all the action. It will be open from Thursday to Sunday. Entry is complimentary with your Amgen Irish Open ticket, and food and beverages available for purchase.
With family-friendly zones, the largest ever Kids Zone, live entertainment, and a premium selection of food and drink, the 2025 tournament is shaping up to be a must-attend event.
Paul Gillmon, Championship Director of the Amgen Irish Open, said:
“Super Saturday is all about celebrating champions, creating unforgettable memories, and raising much needed funds for Make-A-Wish Ireland. We want everyone to come out in their green as we celebrate world-class golf, entertainment, and the magic of Irish sport.”
