A bit of history will be made in St Mary's College Galway this coming Saturday with the All-Ireland Junior Rounders Semi-Finals being hosted by Galway City Rapparees.
It is a clear indication of how the club has grown in the few short years of its existence to be given this honour, with All-Ireland Semi-Finals usually held at Leinster venues.
The opposition on Saturday is Gusserane from Wexford, but it is hoped that with a large home support, the team can make the All-Ireland Final.
Chairperson of the Rapparees, Tomas Kenny, spoke to John Mulligan about the weekend ahead.
