Galway GAA Holds It's Golf Classic In Galway Bay Golf Resort

The Annual Galway GAA Golf Classic took place in the beautiful surroundings of the Galway Bay Golf Resort from Tuesday to Thursday of last week, with 110 teams all taking to the stunning course and all doing their bit to help Galway GAA prepare their inter-county teams.

Despite the mixed weather conditions, it was an excellent three days of golf, and great credit must go to Peter Murphy and all at Galway Bay Golf Resort for the organisation and the wonderful way that everyone was looked after.

John Mulligan was there on the Wednesday, where the talk was mostly about the golf and also two very important games for the Galway Senior Football and Hurling Teams.

John first got to speak to Peter Murphy of the resort and to Galway Hurling Selector, Noel Larkin.

The Leinster Final on Sunday was on many people's minds, and John got the opinion of Offaly Hurling legend and former Chairperson of the Offaly County Board, Michael Duignan.

Mick Judge is one of the organisers of the Classic and he spoke to John.

Both Galway Senior Managers were there in Renville. First was Hurling Manager Micheal Donoghue.

Finally, John spoke to Senior Football Manager Padraic Joyce.
