The Sweeney Oil Intermediate Football Championship Semi-Finals took place this weekend as Caltra and An Spidéal will contest the final after two thrilling games on Sunday.
Caltra had to work hard to overcome a determined Corofin B side, who led by five points at half-time in Tuam Stadium. But Caltra clawed their way back into the game to eventually win by four points.

In the second semi-final, An Spidéal had the most dramatic of victories against St. Brendan's. A two-pointer from a free with the last kick of the game from Maghnus Breathnach sent An Spidéal into the Intermediate final on a scoreline of 1-13 to 1-11.
