The Galway League booked their spot in the Oscar Traynor Cup Final with a 4-0 victory over the Wexford League in the semi-final played in Mullingar yesterday afternoon.
A 15th-minute Enda Curran goal, from a well-worked throw-in routine, put the Galway League ahead going into half-time. Colga's Calum Browne doubled the lead on 56 minutes, before two goals in three minutes from the red-hot Curran put the result beyond doubt and secured the victory for Brendan O'Connor's side.
The Galway League will now face the Limerick District League in the final, after they overcame the Donegal Junior League 2-1 after extra time in Castlebar yesterday.
