The 2025 Galway Races begin tomorrow with the first race at 5.10.
Since its foundation in 1869, the Races have become part of Irish Folklore, with thousands of racegoers and fans attending every summer.
This year's meeting celebrates some very special milestones, including Diageo’s 60th year of partnership with the Galway Races, Tote’s 15th year sponsoring the historic Galway Plate, and
Chanelle Pharma’s 40th year supporting the Leading Trainer Award.
Galway Bay FM's George McDonagh looked ahead to the summer meeting in the company of top trainers, jockeys, sponsors and members of the racecourse committee.
