An impressive first half saw Galway put Mayo away in their Connacht LGFA Senior Championship round three game played in Tuam Stadium on Sunday.
Galway led by 2-9 to 0-5 at half time, with the goals coming from Kate Slevin and Player of the Match Aisling Madden.
Although Mayo made some inroads in the second half, Galway went on to win by 2-13 to 0-9.
