Galway United will be hoping for third time lucky this Saturday (28th June 2025) when they travel to defending champions Shelbourne in the opening round of the FAI Women's Senior Cup.
United suffered a 3-1 defeat at home to the Reds last season, while eventual winners Athlone Town took them down at the first hurdle in 2023.
The Tribeswomen come into the fixture on the back of three wins, but they have suffered defeat in their last five meetings with the Dublin side.
