Galway United's Aoibheann Costello Wins March Player of the Month Award In SSE Airtricity Women's Premier Division

Galway United vice-captain Aoibheann Costello has been chosen as the SSE Airtricity Women's Premier Division Player of the Month for March 2026.

Galway United currently sit top of the SSE Airtricity Women's Premier Division after three games, having won their opening three matches, and Costello has played a major role in that, with a goal in their most recent league win against Wexford, alongside another in a 4-0 win against Peamount United in the Women’s All-Island Cup.

It is the first time Costello has been nominated and is the 9th Galway United player to pick up a Player of the Month award.
