Galway's Senior Hurlers open their Allianz National League campaign with a trip to Semple Stadium to face Tipperary.
The team was named on Friday morning with three making their league debuts, Darragh Neary of Castlegar and the U20 duo of Aaron Niland of Clarinbridge and Athenry's Jason Rabbitte.
Ahead of the game, Sean Walsh spoke to Galway Manager Micheal Donoghue and put it to him that it must be exciting to be this close to the start of the league.
