Last weekend, Senshin Sports in Briarhill hosted a unique judo seminar with Deborah Gravenstijn, one of the Netherlands’ most celebrated judoka and a two-time Olympic medallist.
The event brought together athletes and coaches from across Ireland, offering them the rare opportunity to learn from an Olympian who has also medalled at both the World and European Championships.
Deborah led a high-energy technical session, shared insights into the mindset and discipline required to reach Olympic level, and engaged in an inspiring Q&A session with both players and parents.
