Glenamaddy club Glen Celtic will bid to bridge a gap of 27 years tomorrow when they face St John's in the Final of the Roscommon and District League Cup (Sponsored by Joe's Bar, Ballinasloe) at Lecarrow.
The Galway based club last won the cup in 1998 when they beat Roscommon Town 2-0.
It has been an interesting season for Celtic. Relegated from Division One of the Roscommon League following a playoff loss, they have been outstanding in the Cup, beating teams like Shiven Rovers from the Premier Division and Dunmore Town, who are in a race for promotion to the Premier Division for next season.
Ahead of the club's biggest game for some time, John Mulligan sat down with joint managers Padraig Raftery and Sean O'Neill.
