Ireland are in Georgia for the first game of their two-match mini summer tour on Saturday (5th July 2025).
It's the first time an Irish team have played a test match on Georgian soil. And with the hosts looking to break into the top 10 of the world rankings, Paul O'Connell's charges can expect a solid battle.
Georgia's head coach is Richard Cockerill, who has coached in England, Scotland and France, and now oversees Georgia's national team. He provides a great insight into what rugby means in this outpost of the game and how they are going about trying to beat Ireland while chatting to Galway Bay FM's William Davies.
Earlier, William also caught up with Ireland captain Craig Casey.
Kick-off in Tbilisi on Saturday is 6pm Irish time.
