Killannin's Kieran Molloy secured his first-ever boxing championship title at the SSE Arena in Belfast on Friday (20th March 2026) when he beat Xavier Kohlen from the Netherlands by unanimous points decision.
The Galway boxer, who learned his craft with the Oughterard club, appeared in control throughout the 10-rounder to leave no doubt about the judges' decision and bring his perfect professional record to 14 wins from as many fights.
