Louise Creaven is a boxer who is creating quite a stir down under.
The Killimordaly native, who now lives and boxes out of the Gold Coast in Australia, is now ranked number two in Australia and inside the top 25 in the World at Super Lightweight after just four professional fights and is also the holder of the Australian National Boxing Federation Australasian Welterweight title following an impressive win over Connie Chan last October.
Louise fought for the PBC International Super Lightweight title last month but lost out on a decision to New Zealand's Sheila Yama in a fight that also saw her injure her shoulder.
With the injury now healing nicely, Creaven cannot wait to get back into the ring with a date in October a possibility.
She spoke to John Mulligan from her home on the Gold Coast.
