This weekend will be one of the biggest and busiest for Galway Inter County teams with a staggering NINE in action.
Tomorrow evening at 7pm it all begins with the Minor Footballers taking on Roscommon in the Connacht Final in Tuam Stadium. Moving to Saturday, the Minor Hurlers gets a busy day underway with their Leinster Semi-Final against Wexford in Portlaoise at 12 noon with the Celtic Challenge teams taking on Cork in the Quarter Final in Kilbeacanty.
At 2pm Galway’s U20 Ladies Footballers are away to Mayo in Swinford and the Galway Gaelic Masters start their championship journey at home to Leitrim/Longford with the game taking place in Loughgeorge.
At 3pm, The Galway U23 Camogie team face Kilkenny in Birr in the All-Ireland Semi-Final and half an hour later the Senior Hurlers take on Kildare in round three of the Leinster Championship.
Then at 5, Galway’s U16 Camogie team face Kilkenny in the replay of the All-Ireland Final in St Brendan’s Park in Birr.
Moving to Sunday and all roads will lead to Hyde Park as Galway faces Roscommon in the Connacht Senior Football Final with throw in at 4.15pm.
