Catherine Thornton has been a leading light in Athletics for some time.

From her time in Crusaders in Dublin to moving home to Galway and joining Galway City Harriers, she has excelled in everything she has done.

Today she holds the chairperson's position in Galway City Harriers and had played an important part in the recent success of the Streets of Galway 8k.

She spoke to John and George on Over The Line about her career, the success of the Streets of Galway and Athletics in general.
