For the fourth time this decade, Presentation Athenry and St. Raphael's Loughrea go head-to-head in the Connacht Post Primary Schools Senior A Hurling Final this Sunday (7th February 2026).
Both teams have been recent All-Ireland finalists, with St. Raphael's going down to St. Kieran's, Kilkenny after extra time in 2024, and Presentation denied by CBS Thurles in last year's decider.
Presentation Athenry are the defending Connacht champions and are chasing a 14th title overall. Joint manager Gary Moroney, who oversees the side along with Mike Finn and Ronan Badger, has been chatting to Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly.
St. Raphael's missed out on last year's provincial decider but have been their opponents in finals in 1997, 1998, 2020 and 2024. Their manager Francis Forde has also been talking to Darren.
