Despite a thrilling second half comeback that led to a shot to win the game, Galway came up one point short to Roscommon in the Electric Ireland Connacht Minor Football Final in Tuam Stadium on Friday (8th May 2026).
Goals from Jayden Concannon and Joshua Coyne gave Roscommon a 2-8 to 0-5 interval lead with the wind. But Darragh Kelleher's second half strike gave the visitors control before Adam Healy's goal ensured Galway stayed in touch until the finish.
