Galway United didn't manage to end their 10-game SSE Airtricity League Men's Premier Division winless run on Friday (19th September 2025) in Eamonn Deacy Park, but they did pick up a crucial point to stay out of the relegation play-off position.
David Hurley slotted home a 61st-minute penalty to give the visitors the lead in Richmond Park, but Jason McClelland equalised for the hosts 11 minutes later. But United also finished with 10 men after a late red card for Hurley.
Afterwards, Galway United manager John Caulfield spoke to Galway Bay FM's Mike Rafferty and assembled media.
Galway Bay FM's match commentary team were Mike Rafferty and Dave Kelly.
