Galway City Harriers Athletics Club, in association with Blackrock Health Galway Clinic, have announced details of the 39th edition of the annual Streets of Galway 8k Road Race.
The already sold out 8km race route starts promptly at 7pm on Saturday, 9th August.
The athletes will pass many of the city’s most famous landmarks before entering the Promenade at Leisureland before a fast finish along Gratton Road and South Park onto the finish at Nimmo’s Pier, where GCH hospitality and after race refreshments await.
Race HQ is at the Claddagh Hall, Nimmo’s Pier, Galway (H91 A6Y6).
