Two Ardrahan hurlers led their respective inter-county teams to All-Ireland championship silverware in Croke Park on Saturday (31st May 2025).
With plenty of Galway involvement across the three games taking place, Conor Cosgrove got the distinction of lifting the Nicky Rackard Cup for Roscommon following their thrilling 3-16 to 1-21 win over Mayo.
And not long after leading his team to national silverware, Conor Cosgrove joined Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly on the QFinancial.ie Saturday Sports Show.
Then 2017 Galway All-Ireland winner Jonathan Glynn made it a historic day for his club, and his adopted county, as New York won the Lory Meagher Cup with a 4-17 to 2-17 victory over Cavan.
And Ardrahan also had a third winner as Stephen Whelan was part of the London team that beat Derry 1-27 to 1-24 in the Christy Ring Cup Final.
