Following a run of 12 defeats going back to January 2024, Connacht finally slayed an interprovincial rival in the BKT United Rugby Championship at the Affidea Stadium, Belfast on Friday (20th March 2026) to move into the top-8 play-off positions.
Sean Jansen and Finlay Bealham got tries before a double from Finn Treacy secured the bonus point and gave them their first away victory over Ulster since May 2023.
Afterwards, Galway Bay FM's Rob Murphy asked Finn Treacy what the atmosphere was like in the dressing room.
