With three wins in succession, Connacht are hoping to bring that form to the interprovincials when they travel to Ulster in the BKT United Rugby Championship this Friday (20th March 2026).
They haven't won their last 12 games against Irish opposition. Indeed, it's November 2023 when they last beat Ulster in November 2023, when they came from 17 points down to win 22-20 in Galway. They last won away in Belfast (15-10) six months earlier.
Connacht head coach Stuart Lancaster is hopeful Bundee Aki will remain next season as the 36-year-old's contract expires at the end of the season. But the Irish centre and his international team mates Finlay Bealham, Billy Bohan, Darragh Murray and Cian Prendergast are all available.
However, Dylan Tierney-Martin and Sam Gilbert are ruled out due to shoulder and rib injuries respectively.
Second row Darragh Murray scored a try in Ireland's triple crown victory over Scotland last weekend and he has been chatting to Galway Bay FM's Alan Deegan.
Alan also got the thoughts of Connacht head coach Stuart Lancaster.
Kick-off at Affidea Stadium on Friday is 7.45pm and we'll have LIVE coverage here on Galway Bay FM.
