Both Galway colleges will attempt to complete a double-double this Friday (13th March) when they contest AIG Ireland Ladies Football Third Level Finals in DCU. Both University of Galway and ATU Galway already have camogie crowns clinched in 2026.
University of Galway are in the Donaghy Cup Final at 4pm against TUS Midwest; ATU Galway go up against SETU Carlow in the Moynihan Cup at 6pm.
HOSTS DCU Dóchas Éireann will look to secure a fourth successive AIG O’Connor Cup title when they face TU Dublin on Saturday.
The scene is set for the 2026 AIG Ladies HEC third-level Championship Finals, with four deciders pencilled in for Friday, followed by three on Saturday.
Sponsors AIG Ireland and the Ladies Higher Education Colleges (HEC) Committee have also confirmed live coverage of all seven finals.
Friday’s AIG HEC, Lagan, Donaghy and Moynihan Cup finals will be live via the Ladies Gaelic Football Association’s YouTube channel https://bit.ly/4lBQRfH, along with Saturday’s AIG Lynch and Giles Cup deciders. The showpiece O’Connor Cup Final on Saturday will be live-streamed on the Spórt TG4 YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@SportTG4/streams
The AIG O’Connor Cup final isn’t the only competition where DCU Dóchas Éireann harbour hopes of silverware, as they’ll also contest the Lagan, Lynch and Giles Cup finals.
In the eagerly-anticipated AIG O’Connor decider, DCU DÉ will face first-time finalists TU Dublin in a ‘Dublin derby.’
DCU DÉ got the better of University of Limerick at the semi-final stage, as TU Dublin accounted for UCC.
A third successive title win for DCU DÉ last year made it six in total – and now they’ll aim for four-in-a-row and a seventh crown in all.
