West United FC will celebrate its 80th anniversary at the end of May in the Galway Bay Hotel with a gala event with special guests Packie Bonner and Julie Ann Russell.
Since its foundation, the club has grown to a stage where more facilities are needed and as part of their celebrations, the club are also giving away a cruise to one lucky winner.
Margaret Murphy, Philip McDonagh and some of the West United FC Academy players joined John in the studio to talk about the club, their ambitions for the future and their night of celebration on May 31st.
They also took the opportunity to speak about the draw.
