Connacht play their last game in the BKT United Rugby Championship before the four-week international break this Saturday when they travel to Italy to play Zebre (31st January 2026).
Connacht are currently 14th in the table, four points ahead of bottom side Zebre. But with a game in hand, an away victory could propel the Irish side back into top-8 contention.
Having won the last eight meetings between the teams, Connacht will be strong favourites. When they last played in Italy in May 2025, tries from Cian Prendergast, Shayne Bolton and Shamus Hurley-Langton gave Connacht a 22-12 victory.
Connacht scrum-half Caolin Blade was first to look ahead to the game and Galway Bay FM's William Davies asked him what last Saturday's occasion in Dexcom Stadium was like.
Back three player Harry West was next up and William asked him who came up with the idea of playing him at outside centre.
Connacht assistant coach Rod Seib was the last to chat to William and what was the reaction to last week's defeat to Leinster?
Kick-off at the Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi is 3pm, and we'll have LIVE coverage here on Galway Bay FM.
