A candidate in the upcoming Galway West by-election is branding the findings of the latest opinion poll as "gay fake news".
AJ Cahill has used X, formerly Twitter, to express his disbelief at the figures revealed in the Irish Times and TG4 poll.
In the top 3 places by first preference vote, they had Fine Gael's Sean Kyne on 17 percent, Independent Ireland's Noel Thomas on 16 percent, and Labour's Helen Ogbu on 12 percent.
Posting this morning, The Irish People Party leader referenced the need for a 'Sanity Check' and described the figures as "gay fake news"
