Galway West by-election candidate Mark Lohan says he will raise issues with the Galway to Lettermore bus with the NTA.
The Sinn Féin candidate carried out a month-long survey of the 424 service via Carraroe, which he says reveals widespread overcrowding.
More than 200 people took part in the study, which he says also showed that passengers are regularly left behind.
Mark Lohan, who is representing Sinn Féin in the upcoming by-election on May 22nd, says he will bring these issues to the National Transport Authority.
He is calling for more buses and increased capacity along the route, and says other issues in the likes of Barna, Baile na hAbhann, Furbo, and Spiddal also need to be addressed.
