Green Party by-election candidate Niall Murphy is slamming further delays to a long-sought bus service for Ballymoneen Road Upper.
The bus service has not operated for many years due to the lack of a turning bay along the road.
Niall Murphy says he has now learned from the NTA that no current solution exists before the Ring Road is built.
The former City Councillor says the idea that we have to wait for a billion euro piece of infrastructure before we can turn a bus around is laughable.

He says surely, a temporary concrete pour on a tiny parcel of the land earmarked for the ring road, is achievable to allow a bus to turn around.
