By-election candidate and Fine Gael Senator Sean Kyne argues new laws are needed to crackdown on online intimidation of Gardaí.
He says Gardaí across the country put themselves in harms way every single day to keep communities safe.
Senator Kyne says the idea that they, and their families, can be so easily targeted and harassed online is totally unacceptable.
He further believes there also needs to be a clear and consistent pursuit-driving policy - so Gardaí know what they can do when pursuing criminals.

Senator Kyne concludes by saying Gardaí should also have a separate license for on-duty driving, so it does not impact personal or family life.
