Do Fianna Fail think that people in Galway are fools?
That's the question posed by Sinn Fein by-election candidate Mark Lohan, after fellow candidate and Fianna Fail Councillor Cillian Keane called for "energy credits" in the upcoming budget.
He argues it's Fianna Fail and Fine Gael that have done absolutely nothing to help families in Galway struggling with soaring home heating costs.
Mark Lohan says the reality is that every step the Government has taken on cost-of-living is only due to pressure from Sinn Fein and ordinary people demanding action.
He says it's now laughable that Councillor Keane wants people to believe that sending another Government TD to Dublin will force action.
