Galway Bay fm newsroom - Gardaí have seized 70-thousand euro worth of drugs from a house in Athenry.

Two men were arrested at the scene and are currently being detained at Galway Garda Station.

The drugs are now being sent for analysis and it's suspected to be cannabis herb.

The intelligence led operation happened outside of the town of Athenry at 8:30 last night.
