5 additional special classes have been approved for primary schools in Galway City.
This is the second tranche of announcements
It brings the total number of new classes for children with special educational needs announced for Galway in the last few weeks to 12.
Education Minister and Galway West TD Hildegarde Naughton says the schools in Galway approved in this round are;
