It's been an extremely busy period for the Aran Islands RNLI - who have hit 10 callouts over the past week.
Crews responded to a further three callouts over the weekend.
The first was on Saturday afternoon, for a successful medical evacuation from Inis Mór due to a suspected spinal injury.
Later that evening, crews received a report of a lone sailor in difficulty 10 miles from Cill Rónain Harbour.
They were experiencing engine failure and fatigue while facing worsening weather conditions, including force 5 winds and two metre swells.
Crew transferred to the broken-down yacht to attach a tow and monitor the sailor, before successfully returning to the harbour.
The final callout was on Sunday evening, to a broken down vessel around 3 miles southwest of Ros a Mhíl.
The stranded vessel and its crew were also towed safely back to the harbour.
The RNLI says it's been a very busy week and they're very grateful to their volunteers who never hesitate to answer the call and save lives at sea.
