Bacteria warning for Ballyloughane and Grattan beaches to be removed

Warning notices for increased levels of bacteria in the water at Ballyloughane and Grattan Road beaches are to be removed.

The prior warning had been issued by the City Council before last weekend, with increase rainfall expected to impact bacteria levels.

Results of samples taken on Monday have revealed the bathing water quality at both spots to be 'Excellent'.

Both prior warning notices will be removed by the City Council.
