The HSE expects that all outstanding maternity reviews at Portiuncula Hospital will be completed in the coming weeks.
At this week's meeting of the HSE Health Forum, Councillor Alan Harney was informed there's four outstanding reviews.
Two of those, he was told, are at an advanced stage - and all should be completed at some point in Quarter 3 of this year.
The reviews were carried out following an abnormally high number of deaths and complications in high-risk pregnancy cases in recent years.

It's still not clear when the handling of high-risk pregnancies cases might be restored at Portiuncula.
Fine Gael Councillor Harney says excellent work is being done to ensure that does happen and full confidence is restored.
