Gardaí have confirmed that the person, who's body was recovered from the water at Claddagh Quay, has now been identified.
An appeal was issued yesterday to identify the man whose body was recovered on Sunday November 17th.
Gardaí had released CCTV imagery and other details, as they had been unable to identify the man, despite what they say were extensive enquiries.
Gardaí have thanked the public for its assistance.
