City-based auctioneer O'Donnellan & Joyce says an online auction held today is one of their most successful in recent years.

12 properties went under the virtual hammer, with a total sale value of almost €6.5m.

The standout result was Blocks 4 and 9 at Ballybrit Business Park - which had an asking price of €1,950,000 - but sold for €2,450,000.

Another significant sale was Woodquay Townhouse, at 20 Walsh's Terrace, Woodquay which achieved a sale price of €1,940,000.
