Within just 4 minutes of the launch of the An Tobar scheme 82 applicants had registered and within 45 minutes, 69 fully completed applications had been submitted.
To date Galway City Council has 185 registered applicants with 90 fully submitted applications for the purchase of four two-bed houses and ten three-bed houses in partnership with Cairn Homes
The online application portal will close at noon on September 29th and Galway City Council is to allocate the homes as soon as possible
